Bake3D hell?

well i’ve been using vray free for my 3d car renderings and such and want
to make a a simple building to walk though with baked GI.

i did have bake3d .5 installed, though im not sure which version is the
latest since vray free doesnt include it.

i cant find any links for the latest version or where to download it…

when i tried using .5, clicking on gen/render textures worked fine but
just clicking on render lighting would crash max nomatter what i changed..
literally every time! :sweat_smile:

any help?
i know how much talk about bake3d has been on these forums but there’s
no real tutorial or help in the dozen topics..

Bake3D is version specific and I don’t think it was designed to work with the free version either.
You needed bake3d to be compatable with the version of vray you were using to avoid crashes. It’s still a beta too unless I am mistaken…
