Hi could you give us a bit more details. You are using 3ds max’s batch render and how do you save your output? Which dialog are you using?
Vlad Thank you for answerreing.
I am using the max vbersion built in to the Max Menus..Rendering…Batch render.
Is this not used any more I can see save all channels on the VBF, which is great, but I was hoping the click and go.
Aslo The nerw hot fix 2 relaased the other day, the clouds won’t work for me.
Max 2023, no fixes added to it yet.
Thank you again.
Phil
Vlad sorry cloulds working I just had to reset the sky component.
Thank you
Vlad , Thank you again.
I presume it is time start learning again…
Vladimir, I tried the method you mentioned above but it doesn’t seem to work with VrayDenoiser. I just get a file that’s all black. Am I doing something wrong?
The VrayDenoiser needs VFB in order to work. You can use the Standalone Denoiser Tool as an alternative.
Actually this will not work straight away since the V-Ray Standalone Denoise still needs render elements to operate.
So currently there’s no way to render a denoiser element in batch render, right?
Bump. Is this still true? I’m having issues with batch render ignoring my cryptomatte filter on my denoise layer. Its denoising the whole image instead.
Not sure. I switched from Vray to FStorm about a year ago.
