The new Rhino 6 adds a great feature called “Snapshots” which allows you to create separate scenes (with different lights, materials, cameras etc) in the same rhino file. This is a “golden feature” for people rendering as you don’t have to save off 10 different files for each element you are rendering. However, i cant seem to find this link in the batch render feature…is this coming or is there a script or workaround to link to a saved snapshot?

This is a feature we’d like to implement once it is exposed in the Rhino API. Cannot provide any ETA yet but we’re hoping to have it in one of our upcoming updates.

No API yet. Supporting Snapshots is high on our team’s priority list so as soon as we can begin working on it we’ll ship it as soon as possible.

Hello Micha, thank you. I wrote there before one month, i think. But answer was some like “You must ask chaosgroup” 
Maybe the API is working now.

I cant seem to select the snapshot names in the vray batch render menu?
Am i missing something?
I would love to batch render my various snapshots as this helps in not having to save off 6 different files.
