hey everyone, ive modeled this bathroom and rendered it with vray but im having trouble getting more shadow into the picture. I dont know it might just be me, but i would appreciate any tips to make this more realistic.. THanks guys, here are my settings
and heres the image
thanks again
oh and any other tips to make it better would also be awesome
what do you think about using globalphoton mapping or increase dark multiplier in g-buffer color mapping.
get global photon mapping, and more realistic.
i would suggest to increase the Min rate for the ir-map to at least -3.
in addition give it more HSph. subdivs. and reduce the Interp. samples.
the interp. Samples usually are set lower than the HSph. subdivs.
the carpet also needs some work.
nice mood btw.
hey guys thanks for the replies, im gonna try all of these sugestions soon, maxtage: should i use the global photon map for secondary bounce only or both?
You should use the photon map in secondary only because its very poor quality when used in first. Use it in first only when setting the map, when you find a good setting save the map and render the first bounce with irradiance.
thanks dusan, i tried increasing the dark multiplier and used global photon mapping in the secondary bounces. here is the result tell me what you think
