Bathroom

Hi!

I made this image as a test for a client - any C&C are welcome.

Looks really good! The glass with the boxes on it might need a little more reflection.

:shock: Wow, really nice work!
Very nice atmosphere and textures.

Very nice image! Textures are great - what did you use for the mirror frame? A procedural?

Very nice!
Ceramic looks fantastic!
Did you use displacement?

Very Nice !!!

Bravo !!!

Thanks for all comments!

@hughring
I tried to make a kind of sand dusted glass but i might give it another try.

@mcvltd
It´s a blend material of Wood and Ore and then I used a cellular material as a mask.

@visumporec
Nope! Floor and “table” are made as models - brick by brick :wink:

mirror frame is superb, catches the eye :smile:

I really like your image very much. It has a lovely light spaciousness to it.

I would love to be able to create this quality of light.

Without sounding demanding, would it be possible to see your lighting setup for the scene? I have tried to create this sort of image in the past and it never looks as clean and crisp this.

Thanks!

:smile:

I second that request! :smile:

@Blitterswitch

There is really no special trick with the light :wink:
It´s just a VRay sun/sky setup in conjunction with VRayPhysicalCamera and then I used a VRay light as fill light in the left side (there is a doorway).

very nice. great materials and lighting (the recipes for great renders. along with the models)
the sandblasted glass looks great.
nice attention to detail

Hope you don’t mind.
Some PS tweaks.

Slightly darkened the mirror, as it looked too Perfect on your rendering, like there is just an empty frame… rest is adjustments.

Best regards,

The tile is great!!!

it’s a beautiful inspiring image.

awesome image :slight_smile:

very nice

If you build tile by tile for as a “test” for a client, i’d like to see what you make in the job you are trying to get :smile:

Hi everyone - thanks for all the positive comments!!

@Candelero
Nope I don´t mind - and it´s a good observation! I have been looking on mirrors all day to see if you are rigth. And of course you are! They all tend to reflect a little darker - some more and some less. (Thanks for the name tag :wink: ).

Your adjustment of the whole image seems very dark, was that intended?

@Momentum
:smile: I admit it´s a little overkill but it´s a way of getting new clients. I am so glad that you all like it, because the client did not. :frowning:

Yes, principally the so-called < Contre-jour > views / photos, come out a bit darker, as you are shooting against the light direction. Gives more depth.

And I am not sure , how it looks like on a normal screen, i did the correction on a laptop !

Your client sounds difficult.

The tile joint material looks too lumpy. Tile grout is usually more smooth, as far as I’ve seen. The tiles themselves are convincingly real. Great work.
