Beams not showing in Enscape

Hi,

can someone have a look at my rvt files please and check why my beams are not appearing in the enscape view when I link my structural into my architectural model? I already tried all view settings to fix it, but I didnt find out what’s happenings.

Thanks.

looks fine here…

Did you link the arch model into str?

Because doing the opposite, linking the structural model into my architectural model doesnt work here

I opened Projeto Ivan-ARQ- R02.rvt with Projeto Ivan-R06.rvt linked. In revit 2018 though… but the beams are visible…
I used the latest preview enscape version…

Having the same problem…

Structural beams are in the same file as the architectural elements, but beams and columns only show up randomly… NOT fun, especially since I use a paying version of Enscape, and since I have the problem on 2 different PC’s (laptop / desktop).

Does the faces on beams point outwards?

Thanks for your post and welcome to our forum!

In this case, is there any chance you could send over that project for troubleshooting / resolving purposes? You can, for example, upload the file to wetransfer.com and send me the download link via PM, if that is possible.

Demian,

You can find the file over here: https://aacoarchitecten-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal/peter_vanorshoven_aaco_be/EYwxlJU43DZAqijlhX5HhNcBCBbMaz6CK8NmRofePFYarQ?e=g76Qg2

Need to tell you that a forum without e-mail announcement when you reply, is difficult to follow. As an architect I cannot check all forums every day to see if someone perhaps wanted to solve the problem in [their, sorry to say so] software. Perhaps it is a problem in my model, but everything shows fine when I look at it in Revit, so I don’t expect that to be the case…

If you have more news, please let me know on .

Thanks for solving,

Peter

We’ll check it out, thank you very much. I’ll also forward the suggestion to have an e-mail sent out when someone replies to a thread in which you’re active, it would probably make the most sense to send out an e-mail if one has been mentioned via a quote or via “@”.

Thanks again for a bit more patience.

@Pjeroo1974 , the internal Revit renderer renders the wall with the same output as in Enscape - in this case, it seems that the Revit preview in the viewport is simply not showing this structure. I was able to remove the surface structure by simply changing the Type of the Family of your wall at hand to something else:

I hope this helps!
