@Thomas_Willberger A wish for the Enscape team - allow a better fine tune of the quality, best independent for noise and GI. For example the second image - clouds of GI splotches and the noise could be less too. I have seen this issues at my scenes too. @johann_p You did use the ultra quality?
Maybe the goal could be that “ultra” isn’t the level for VR and all days, but the level for the difficult still image cases. At Vray I would say, more IrradMap GI subdivs and longer render times by a finer noise threshold. The difference between high and ultra shouldn’t be the GI bounces, only GI samples and noise. But best would be to get three controls - GI bounces, GI samples, final noise - maybe if the user enable an advanced mode.

Yes, I used ultra quality, in my experience turning down the GI intensity helps against the blotches, but in real photographs the entourage outside the windows is very very bright also (most of the times).
