Now that the game has been released I can finally post this.

While I was working at Eyeballnyc in New York City I was lucky to be a part of the team that produced a 60 second spot for Bioshock.

Vray was used for everything except the hair and volumetric effects.

I was responsible for creating shaders, lighting the environment and the characters, and rendering everything in layers so the compositers had plenty to work with. The compositers really did a great job bringing everything together as did everyone involved in the project.

i cant view it for some reason. crashes both firefox and ie.

Problem with your quicktime plugin percy - I’ve had a load of issues with it recently.

Love the ad, the music sits really psychotically with it too!

yeah I had that too.. me thinks my QT plugin is messed up.

Just stop the page from loading before the movie loads then get the source code of the page and find the .mov link and past that after the domain name and download the file that way with a download manager or something.

woah… just noticed it blasted past the 7000th post barrier without even noticing…well now i can get on with my life…

Nice job! The spot looks great. Congrats to you and your team. One of your freelance FX guys told me he was working on this months ago. Its great to finally get to see it. Brings back memories of our cinematic.
