# block instance

Hej  
I can?t render a block instance imported from autocad. This seems not to be a v-ray problem becouse flimingo does not eighter.  
How can I apply a v-ray material to a Block? :?:

If you send me the scene I may be able to help you further. As far as materials you should just be able to apply the material as you always would. For mapping you might have to explode the block first and map the different parts of it.

It worked after i exploded all objekts in the scene, but I had to do it for all, even toose who where not mapped ( simpel diffuse materials)  
But as I wrote, it did?t work in flamingo eighter…  
it might not be your cup of tee… 😉

Interesting - do you have problems with everything imported from AutoCAD or was this just some random problem?

I havent tested it that often. I have to make some test and come back one this.
