Hi,
Here a bug :
- create a sphere
- in the shape, go to Drawing overrides, and enable override.
- set the display type to “template”.
- now, set the “enable override” to off.
- render
You will never see the sphere.
The enable override is off but the sphere is in “template mode” : bug. 
(was hard to found !)
