BugSplat, Error loading V-Ray (Screenshots)

V-Ray V-Ray for SketchUp Issues

Hi,

Can’t find any reason for this simple scene which has like 3 materials and 3 light sources.
Scene is now not loading, getting imidate bug splat.
SU18+3.6

Any solutions?

Hello, Moshe,

Do you mean that only a specific scene is causing these bugsplats?
If you happen to have SketchUp 2017 installed, could you please advise whether this issue is reproducible there as well?
Additionally, please list (in a private message if you wish) what other 3rd-party extensions you are using in combination with V-Ray. If you disable all extensions except for V-Ray 3.6, is the issue still reproducible?

Hey Peter,

Actually, I’ve isolated the issue to be reproduce only on 2018. This version seems a bit buggy and not so ready to host V-Ray.
I’ve managed to work with 2017 and V-Ray 3.6.

V-Ray 3.6 fully supports SketchUp 2018. The issue you are experiencing is usually attributed to conflicting 3rd-party plugins.
Could you please send me a PM or an email at support@chaosgroup.com with info about the extensions you use beside V-Ray and whether running only V-Ray without other plugins on SketchUp 2018 still produces the same error? We’re very interested in finding out what the precise cause of your problem is.
