May I ask why you are using V-Ray 1.01? That is a 5 or 6 years old version.

Vray 1.5 is >$1000 Would I love it though.

The last version of the good old 1.xx plugin was 1.05.29 and there I never have seen this kind of problem.

If you have the version 1.01 y pretty sure that you can update to 1.05.29 for free. You just have to contact us to release your license.
