against R17, in R18 I can not see the transparency of the alpha channel in my Viewport.
In the Content Browser it is shown in black aswell
The latest release from 24.07.2017 is installed.
Can somebody help please?
In my attachment you can see the problem It is not a rendering.
In the Material Preview it is shown tranparent

Try setting the alpha channel map to linear color profile rather than embedded or sRGB. I noticed this problem a while ago and setting all alpha maps to linear worked for me.

I already made this. It works fine in R17 but nor R18. The alphachannel or image is not the problem.
The problem is since installing the new release from 24.07.2017.

Same here.
C4D 18.057 but I’ve seen this before with C4D 18.XXX. I don’t know with C4D 17, I’m using Corona since C4D 18.
Diffuse > PNG picture (RVB)
Opacity > PNG picture (greyscale)
Thumbnail material is ok but this material assigned on a plane, I have my RVB picture on a black background.

Opacity and refraction in Corona materials are currently not supported in the viewport.
