Hello
Great work on Vantage so far, however I’d really like to see some improvements in regard to animated cameras. I prefer to import camera movement from 3DS Max, to control the path and the target.
I would like to see:
- Batch Sequencing of multiple Cameras, where you can specify the Camera used and Scene State. (just as you can with Stills)
- In theory this would also mean each batch camera sequence would start rendering from a global Frame 0 time, and in turn any Anima people would render from the start of their inbuilt animation.
- At present, animating cameras relies on interpolation between two camera positions. It would be nice to transform one camera created within Vantage, resulting in a spline path with adjustment handles (as per 3DS Max and Unreal Engine)
I thought the above might arrive in Vantage 3, but dissapointingly it has not. I’m trying to solve the probelm of outputting multiple sequences, while controlling the timing of Anima people in each shot. Posted about this before, but no responce from Chaos:
