Generally with the later generations, the more memory the better for the graphics cards when we are talking about very large projects.
Then since we have an NVIDIA vs AMD question, it comes down to how much ray tracing features you are going to use. NVIDIA’s support of ray tracing features tends to be better so they offer more stable experience. So, if you are going to have ray tracing features enabled 100%, then go for NVIDIA; otherwise, if you are going to have them disabled most of the time and enable them occasionally, eg. for captures, both are good picks.
