Can't define Render Hotkey

Help - I can’t render anymore

I installed the latest preview version offered this morning.

Now at "Capture" no hot key is predefined and any attempt to set up a new hot key gets ignored.

what can I do?

You can change by Shift + end

again auaaaaa to me :whistling: I always tried it with ctrl (Strg=German) key :slight_smile:

@EGIESTO It should work as well with ctrl/strg and alt. I just checked it and it worked well.

Which version of Enscape and SketchUp are you using?

Hi - I´m running SkUp 2018 Pro (v18.0.16975). Enscape please see screenshot (still in trial mode)

still Enscape resists accepting or even can remember any hotkey most of the time!

This wouldn’t be so bad if there was a standard render button somewhere - is there one?

(because without such a button I can’t render)

… now i have noticed that this phenomenon occurs only and as soon as I have opened a 2nd (or more) SkUp instances. Surprisingly this 2nd SkUp instance seems not be touched by the Enscape Hot Key preset then. I think it’s quite normal for most SkUp users to work with multiple SkUp instances at the same time - so how does it look with the other SkUp users?

@EGIESTO Thanks for pointing out that you’re using multiple instances of SketchUp and Enscape simultaneously. We’re aware of this issue.

The first instance of Enscape uses the defined hotkey. The second instance can’t use the already taken hotkey and so on.

Therefor you can’t define as well a already taken hotkey twice.

Maybe we’ll find a solution for it in the future.
