not able to download certain assets. some work but these power outlets dont. all of them. probably more if i would try to download them. what i did:
- restart maya
- checked cosmos path
- deleted downloaded assets and redownloaded them

I wasn’t able to reproduce the download issue within the latest official build of V-Ray for Maya using the assets shown in your images (“Wall electrical device 300 025 022” and “Guitar Electric 31-02”).
Please try the following steps:
1. Finalize the Asset Download Folder change
After changing the Cosmos download directory in the Settings menu, please restart Maya.
2. Reset the assets via Cosmos options
If any files were manually deleted from your folders, the Cosmos database might still think the asset is complete, which can cause these errors.
- in the Cosmos Browser, click on the problematic asset to open its full preview window
- click the three dots menu (…) and select “Delete downloaded asset”
- once deleted, try downloading and importing the asset again
If the problem persists, to investigate further, could you please provide the following:
- the full error log from the Maya Script Editor (to help us identify exactly which file is missing)
- the specific version of V-Ray for Maya and your Maya version.
