As per title. I’m trying to load in a EXR sequence into the CoronaBitmap loader, but I’m getting:
Could not load texture file: R:\RESOURCES\HDRI\HYPERFOCAL\Sample Frames\0850.ifl
Reason: Unrecognized bitmap format in filename “R:/RESOURCES/HDRI/HYPERFOCAL/Sample Frames/0850.ifl”
Although both are supported, I darkly recall some complication being reported by someone with vrayhdri, but absolutely don’t know what it was about or if it was fixed.
Native 3dsMax Bitmap is definitely the safe bet.
Yes - definitely Max bitmap. It’s not that slow.
Vray/other renderer components may always lead to some complications and then it’s hard to find the cause.
But be aware as there seems to be a bug with IFL files, reported on mantis, not yet assigned:
When a bitmap with IFL sequence is used, frames of the sequence do not change from frame to frame if that bitmap is used as a submap (e.g. ColorCorrection, Output - haven´t tested others). This affects interactive rendering AND standard rendering (even when sending the scene to backburner).
When used directly as a map, the correct frames of the sequence are rendered but then:
