Hi- I’m having trouble purging materials from .3dm files I receive from other designers. A few will purge but most will not. Sometimes Rhino will crash when accessing the Materials Editor and when the file is reopened all materials have disappeared including those assigned to geometry in the file…

Thanks Corey- One other thing along the same line… If a layer is frozen I’ve noticed that materials assigned to objects on that layer WILL purge (in general - not related to original thread.) An option to turn that behavior off would be great.
