Can't remove shadows of certain objects

Hello enscape community,

I’m a quite new user (2 years) and i have some problems with shadows. I want some objects to not “throw” shadows and some objects to not capture shadows.

I know about the check boxes in sketchup, but if i cceck/uncheck them, this has no influence to my rendering with enscape. In detail I’m talking about the check box in the upper right corner after clicking on an object.

Am I missing something? Would be cool if someone can help me.
