Can't start simulation - Rendering in process Error (There are no renders)

Hello,
I am working on a scene and can’t start a simulation. Maya is saying there is a render in progress. There are no renders in progress.

I also can’t delete the simulation for the same reason.

Any suggestions?

I’m on Windows 10.

I’ve restarted Maya, The computer, nothing works.

Huh, I’ve had this recently but it was after the renderer crashed so it couldn’t signal Phoenix it’s completed, however a restart of Maya should be enough.

Does this happen with a new scene as well? Does it happen with a latest nightly build?
