Caustics for interior

When do you use caustics? I have an interior scene, that I am playing with, and I thought about using caustics. Will caustics give me a better render? I know that I’ll get hit with render times, but is it worth it, if time isn’t of the essence?

Just wondering if I should even waste me time.

Caustic would give you more natural look and lighting to your project but it has to be properly balanced with other lighting sources.
