Hi. Although I m using same material both on the ceiling and roof facede , the ceiling looks too dark. May I take your comments please. ? İf you share your exterior settings I ll be glad. Thanks in advance.
( Ps: I am using trial version of enscape for sketchup version 2.6.1)
Hi @devrim_topuz , thank you for sharing this, and welcome to our forums!
Well, the ceiling is set completely in the shade, while the roof is in bright daylight, so the difference in brightness is only natural.
You can tackle this, however, with a number of different settings in the Enscape Visual Settings.
First of all, you can change the “Exposure” setting in the “Rendering” tab, but this will increase the brightness of the whole picture, so let’s scratch that.
Way better: Go to the “Image” tab and adjust the “Contrast” slider for “Shadows” (second slider from the top). This allows you to control the intensity of dark areas separately.
Please let me know in case this doesn’t achieve the expected results!
You can also increase the cloud cover so that it blocks most of the sunlight. (And decrease the sunlight strength - which will in turn increase the amount of light you see in the shadows)
