Is there a shortcut i can put on my quad menu for centering the pivot on an object? Or is this a maxscript thing? Anyone know how if it is?

simply multiselect the object you want, go to the 4th pane of the max tools, and select affect pivot only → center to object.
It will center each pivot to its respective object.

was hoping to have a one-click shortcut command i could put on my quadmenu instead of going to the command panel all the time. working with different architects in different offices i get all sorts of geometry to work :shock: with and use this a lot.

You can easily make a button. First of all you need your new new empty tool bar. then type the command centerpivot $ into the maxscript little red window down the bottom left hand corner.. then click and drag from that window onto your toolbar.. there you have a little button that will do exactly what you want.

after you’ve dragged it in it shows up in customize ui as category ‘Drag and Drop’.. from there you can add it to your quad menu (You might want to right click on the toolbar button, edit script, and see which Drag and Drop # the script is though to make it easier)

ok, and now the shortcut for “bridge” in polymode please.
