Cesium Plugin Integration for Enscape

Hi Enscape team,

I know it’s a topic that has popped up in the past, however given that most workarounds (if not all…) have been discontinued one way or the other, maybe it’s the right moment to discuss Cesium integration into Enscape! We all know that OSM integration feels quite limited

Thanks for your consideration.

You mean something like this?

https://www.d5render.com/posts/how-to-use-cesium-in-d5-render-for-3d-mapping

oh..wait Enscape’s site context actually looks like this..

Indeed, this is one example, there are numerous integrations out there.

Your screenshot proves my point. In the age of high visual fidelity context integration matters, and oversimplified extrusions (aka OSM data) don’t necessarily make the cut.

Best,

Access to that stuff is cool, I’m glad we can access it

$1800 a year for a commercial license though

So… is there any answer to that? We are using Lumion, planned to switch to Enscape/Envision, but site context provided by Enscape is a .. joke.. Lumion does by far better… D5 with cesium is a game changer… Pls give me an answer if you are planning to implement it, or not… need to choose next software…

need answer like NOW…
