Hi everybody,
I can’t find a way to colorize scattered objects basing their colours on an image.
This is pretty easy to do with Forest Pack, using Colour Tint.
Is there any chance to do it with Corona Scatter?
This is what I mean:
Not as comfortable as with ForestPack but have a look here:

Thanks Frood,
I couldn’t find it in the forum. I will try it!
Many thanks,
I never find anything in the forum ![]()

You can do this using the Chaos Scatter Color map (or VRayMultiSubTex / CoronaMultiMap depending on your setup).
Just plug your image into the scatter color map and set the mode to read from the underlying surface map / UVs. If you need to tweak or pull the exact palette hex codes from your reference image beforehand to match your material colors, ColorLama is pretty handy for extracting palette values directly from uploaded images. Hope that helps!
