I’ve rendered and saved a 5k vrimg which turned out to be around 1GB in size which is over the Chaos Cloud upload limit for AI enhancing. The only elements I’ve added are the enhancer data and denoiser.
I haven’t worked much with vrimg format so I don’t know if this is expected, but is there any way to get this under the 100MB limit or go around this in any other way?
I’ll investigate and report back.
How exactly are you uploading the image? I just created a 1gb+ .vrimg, and I can upload it just fine from the VFB (it will be scaled down to 4K, which is the AI Enhancer’s limit). Where did you see this 100mb limit?
Ok, now I managed to upload it to the default project folder, but I was not able to upload it to a newly created project…
Does it happen if you upload one file at a time (you try to upload 3 in the screenshot)? When sending to Collaboration for Enhancement, the image is converted to .exr (much lower in size), and indeed, the error message may be due to the file size. For larger images, uploading them one by one is recommended.
I am 100% not uploading multiple copies, I don’t know why it does that. But it does seem like it might be the problem…
I think I saw what happens - whenever you click the Enhancer icon, the image is queued up for upload on every click. Before clicking upload files, it’s best to review the queued images (in the Collaborations tab) to avoid duplicates.
