What happened to the Asset Library? Since Chaos “joined” the software, we haven’t seen as many improvements as before. Especially in the Asset Library section. Previously, we always had updates with hundreds of them.

There’s been a rumor going around the world that Chaos bought Enscape just to prevent it from growing and competing directly. This was done to attract its users to their new software Chaos Envision. If true, and we believe it is, this is completely repugnant and illegal. We are a society of architects, interior designers, and landscape architects from around the world, and we are already in contact with lawyers in Germany to investigate what is happening and if its the case, file a lawsuit to prevent this injustice.

I understand that Chaos has dedicated its time to developing various software applications, each with its own operating mechanics to serve different audiences. V-Ray and Corona for Archviz (seeking better quality in exchange for time), Enscape for ArchDesign (seeking more efficiency and dynamism in exchange for quality). But its market position is strange, doing with Enscape what it had already done with Corona: buying the software and implementing it in its own package.

While I do not believe what OP said is true, at least not 100%, it goes to highlight how the business decision of creating Envision has created this sort of conflicting emotion amongst Enscape customer base.
