Hey guy, a question: for me it’s time to make some intresting Official VRayReel, no? There are milion images, videos, company in the world that use VRay. So, why i don’t remeber any new reel for VRay?
And… a new gallery, no? Wow, ohh… yes, we need a new, fresh, fantastic gallery…

The new site with a lot of updated content is supposed to be a few days away…
As for reels, many of our clients cannot give away their renderings without permission from their clients in turn, and most of them do not like to give things like these away. For example, although V-Ray has been used in recent feature films, which many of you have seen, we do not have permission to say anything about it.

I want to suggest using piclens together with the gallery, which really makes it easy to browse hundreds of images

And, for the copyright, yes, I understand this, but, like Richard Rosenman, or many other friends… For their, it’ only a
visibility . All VRay’s clients don’t give the permission? It’s stange, no? For example, the 2007 3ds max demoreel. For me, many studios use a VRay like renderer.

What is the indigo renderer? I’ve not heard of it before. Anybody familiar with it?
It looks like Maxwell (except that it’s free), where it treats light the way light actually behaves.. so you can get caustics and all the wonderful things light does with a minimal amount of set up. However.. like Maxwell.. it looks like it’s ahead of it’s time. Meaning, when computers are about 100 times faster then what they are right now, Maxwell might be useful, but when you have to get out your calander every time you hit the render button.. who has that kind of time except maybe hobbiest who don’t have deadlines?
But was just wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

yeah I have play with it, and is useful, to fill free time with it.. but as u say, hit render and wait, and wait, and wait.. then go back to vray
I second this! Piclens is amazing, and I wish istockphoto, getty and corbis would use this as well.
