Sorry for being a bit sarcastic here, but when stating that something is “slow”, please provide some valid arguments + basic details, for example:

Don’t know about C4D implementation, but Chaos Scatter in 3ds Max has an option to turn off automatic update, which makes work in heavy scenes much more manageable.

ok,ok, what I mean by"slow" is the viewport performance with a lot of instances. I´m just talking about the laginess…
Some Infos:
Display is set to none
automatic update is OFF (On or OFF does not make such a big difference, maybe NO difference)
Max instances: 1
