Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with chaos scatter, not being available in the dropdown menu as it used to be.
I recently updated max, it did something because it doesn’t recognise corona anymore.
I have corona only to use its color picker.
Tried to install again corona but it doesn’t work…
I tried to re-install vray as well, but nothing..I can’t see chaos menu.
Any known issue or way to fix this?

finally found some time to try and fix the issue.
Well, tried to cancel the chaos scatter folder manually and to reinstall vray but unfortunately I still can’t see chaso scatter in the menu
Did you delete the regedit entry?
Yep, I followed the link you sent.
I deleted chaos 2023 folder from regedit menu…re-installed vray, but nothing.
I don’t know, I have the feeling that after the last 3ds max update something got messed up.
Can’t see anything related to corona as well, that I’m using for the color picker..or having troubles downloading other updates… obviously can’t say it’s everything related
Odd. Maybe it is related. Does resetting your 3ds max to its defaults make a difference? Any environment variables that might be messed up? Are you sure that ChaosScatter/Corona are installed properly?
I try to unistall max and reinstall it…
corona was installed and was working…then suddenly the problem, I think after the update…after that, can’t install corona either, it gives me a message.
then I noticed chaos scatter because I opened a project I was sure was in it and I couldn’t see it
reinstalled max, vray and corona.
now seems to work.
I didn’t want to re-install everything…but if there were not other choices…
