Today, May 20, 2025, we are excited to introduce our new industry-focused suite offerings tailored to meet the specific needs of professionals in Architectural Design, Architectural Visualization, and Media & Entertainment (M&E).

Each suite is thoughtfully curated to deliver the essential tools needed to support and enhance workflows unique to each industry. Organized into three distinct tracks, the suites make it easy for users to select the right combination of tools from Chaos’ comprehensive portfolio, ensuring the perfect fit for every project. These new offerings simplify our product lineup by providing a targeted, cost-effective, and easy-to-manage toolset, eliminating the complexity of purchasing individual products.

As part of this transition, some of our current offerings are being retired. Existing subscriptions to these retired products will be migrated to one of the new suites upon renewal. Question: will floating licenses still be available after these plan changes?

Background:

The email I received from Chaos today specifically says “floating licenses are being retired”

But the Chaos website shows a “Floating license” option for Enscape Premium and ArchDesign Collection.

Hi @colin_mccroskey , floating licenses still exist, but please also refer to the rest of the email you received as they are customized based on your existing subscription, specifically the section titled “Existing Enscape floating licenses are being retired.”

The paragraph below that which should start with “At your next renewal date” will explain what exact changes will apply to your subscription moving forward.
