Im doing a chocolate bar, but the mesh breaks apart when it?s almost done every time. I?ve tried everything. 0,08-0,3 cellsize. viscosity between 0,6-0,9, wetting 0,1-1, surface tension 0,1-1. sticky effect 1
nothing works. The bar has rounded corners 20 cm, scene scale is 0,7
I?d love a setting that makes it impossible for the mesh to break apart ?
try:
high-resolution grid (smaller cell size)
set Gravity to 0.5, 0.3 or bellow
set a little bit larger Scene scale
sticky=1
cons. liquid=0
high viscosity & surf. tens.
When I render out the sequence it?s going very fast. almost feels like fast forward. If I change the timescale to 0,5. Do I need to change the spf to half ?
Yummy! Well, no it’s not necessary to change SPF to half. More SPF would make fluid smoother. You can achieve slower speed by increasing the Scene scale. Keep in mind that this would give you a different fluid dynamic. So, it’s normal. Another way to make a slow-motion is from Input roll-out --> Play speed. Decreasing Play speed parameter would make whole fluid simulation slower.
