VOTE NOW - Enscape Contest: Modern Classroom / School

Dear Forum Community,

It is time for yet another contest and an additional chance to win a custom Asset of your choice!

The theme for this contest is: Modern Classroom / School

There aren’t any major requirements besides that it has to have either a Modern Classroom or Modern School as the main focus point. This can reach from a classroom with computers/tablets to a school that is generally technically advanced in its appearance.

With the release of Enscape 3.3 we’ve also introduced new Educational Assets and Materials which you can make use of freely, but it is not a must! Get as creative as you like and feel free to use models from any source of your choice.

Rules and conditions:

  • Post a single rendering that has a Modern Classroom / School as its main focus point
  • That scene of your choice can be created from scratch, or you can of course use or modify an existing project
  • To stress it again: Only a single rendering per person can be taken into account
  • It should go without saying that all renderings have to be created with Enscape, profanity, nudity, political or vulgar content is naturally prohibited
  • We reserve the right to not include renderings for the community voting if they do not fit the main “Modern Classroom / School” theme. (Any renderings that don’t include a modern classroom/school as the main focus point can of course be shared in our Showcase section instead.)

Contest timeline:

  1. 30 days to add your submissions to this thread (Starting April 11th 2022, Ending May 11th 2022 May 25th 2022 (Including the day) (+2 Weeks added))
  2. 14 days afterwards to let the Forum community vote for their favorite rendering out of all the submissions (Which meet our requirements) → Link to the voting will then be announced and shared here as well
  3. The winner will be contacted and the selected asset which has been wished for will be added with the upcoming release (Enscape 3.4)

If you have any specific questions, please send me a direct message and keep this thread for renderings only.

We’re eagerly looking forward to your submissions!

Hello,

This is my entry for the contest it is of a renovation to an existing non profit daycare that we are designing. The focus is for the architecture to serve as a space to highlight the childrens creativity and allowing them to shine in the classroom.

My contribution is this artist impression which we made for a new faculty building for the Amsterdam University of Applied Science.

This is the main atrium which provides study en meeting places for the students.

My old University Classrooms inspired me, I just made them a bit more modern.

I love the lighting in this one, it just feels so open and makes me want to experience that space. Great job on the scene!

We’re designing a community space that has includes a daycare facility. Perhaps this not technically a classroom, as it will have amenities and uses for the parents as well as the children. This is the open courtyard/outdoor space. Of course, no rendering would be complete without the experience of walking through the space.

I keep wanting to see a little more reflection or shine on materials in this pic. Enscape does start out with a pretty high roughness setting in reflections; don’t know why. Would be interested in how you gave the boy front left some movement; done in PS? Thanks.

I don’t think I would have the nerve to submit something here, although I shared something (that I was having trouble with) a month ago and got a lot of help.

You are right, I made my surfaces too dull, that small amount of reflection would have brought another layer of realism.

As for the boy it was through Photoshop, I used an Enscape asset and rendered my image with object ID maps to export. From here I just selected the boy and copy and pasted him in increments and adjusted transparency accordingly by eye. Though after some suggestions from other users I think I still need some practice with this method while referencing photography to achieve the best results of this effect.
