Wouldn’t it be nice to have a CD from which you can boot and which then can setup a little cluster / grid with all other PC/MAC’s in your office?

If then also a Vray for linux is on the CD, you could add this Cluster as one client to your renderfarm or use it for distribute rendering.

would be great but what about plugins, scripts etc and as simple as that : 3ds max ?
3ds doesn’t run on linux (if I recall right).

I had in mind a old thread from vlado that said that he could create a linux boot cd to try a benchmark with the stand alone of Vray, but that’s far the same that 3dsmax with vray and all your plug that you put in.
