Coloring Vray-Fur

Hello,

is there a way to color the bottom of vrayFur different than the tips? I’d like to make the fur darker at the root and lighter at the top, but have a hard time figuring out how to do this.

Connect the distanceAlongStrand from the vrayFurSampler node to the V coord of a ramp.

Yes, you can use the VRayFurSampler texture to drive a ramp, for example.
