Hi guys. my Buddy and i Are looking for a way to combine normal maps and bump maps in vray. We know how this workflow is done with Mr but Mr also uses the bump node between the file node and the shader. Vray on the other hand has that built into the Vray material. If anyone could help us that would be greatly appreciated.
Put one of the maps in the V-Ray material itself; then wrap it in a VRayBumpMtl material and put the second map there.
Best regards,
Vlado
Thank you for the quick reply. I appreciate it. Worked like a charm.
is it possible to do the same thing with BlendBumpNormalTex (i was using this one, all the time) attached to vray mat bump slot?
cheers
Yes, certainly you can use that one too.
Best regards,
Vlado
