"Container" - a student apartment

Something im designing
wip in stages:

im currently rendering with different chairs, but they always seem to somehow blend into the picture. For a nice render’s sake, should i put some carpet bellow them? make some more opening in that part? (it seems too dark anyway) reduce the reflection on the staircase wood material (its the same as on the bench in front of the window). Ill definitly put some slim pillows on that bench maybe thatll help.

hey~ dusan..

nice illumination.

i like wood shader.

Hey dusan nice job so far, where did you get the map for the floor in the last image?

i think that it can be found on www.suurland.com as a giveaway, but im not 100% sure because i have it for a while.
About the rest of the textures, they are mostly from osmosis’s tutorial, and too bad they are so low res :frowning: i really like that concrete panel texture…

Tkx dusan, Im not sure of the quality of the textures as I havnt had a chance to check them out but there are some concrete textures here http://www.arroway.de/textures/01/en/index.html

Also feel free to go through my links on my site, Ill hopefully be updateing it soon with a few more sites here and there

 I see some objets flying, the stair and the spheres, nice textures and environment.

ok, these are the final images, BUT, this is just one of those projects which will be put aside due to tight deadlines and wait some makeup

and here is something i’ve done for the first time

sure took hell of a time to render…

Well done tsare!

Btw, is the design your own?

thanks,

yup the design is my own. Chairs too, the sofa i modelled from a picture.

nice…,but how can i eat or drink at this "high"table

with a “high” chair of course

yeah.. there is something wrong with my proportions, i always model a table 85cm high, but obviously thats wrong :frowning:
ill lower it.

Sorry man, but your stairs are flying!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

how do you mean, is it because of the settings or i need to model some defined base/connection?

it’s possible to cantilever the stairs from the wall (I would use steel myself) but then your wall would show that the stairs are imbedded or there would be couplings of some sort holding the stair to the wall.
as it is the wall was built and then the stairs are placed against it. which makes them float.
To help the stairs from failing your hand rail could connect to each tread and then the stairs could hang.
