Very nice work. Out of curiosity, what AA filter are you using. The textures show very nice detail. Is this a sharpen filter in post?

Dan

great image. only thing is the AA under the statue on that glass or light or whatever it is.

What are these yellow blobs?

In the wireframe, there are some yellow blobs below the light fittings in the ceiling.
What are they?
Are they used for lighting? If so, what about the “real” light in the ceiling, aren’t they IES?

where di you get those nice photometric lights???

The yellow blob is a representation of the photometric web of the IES lights.

that looks brilliant. what kind of material do you have on the horse? It looks like it has a diplacement on it and I can see what looks like SSS on the tail. Can you tell us what u did here?
Well done.

Justin

re:

The horse is the bumpmapping
And the tail is not the sss.. it is effect of the back light
Interest Thank you

I still think that your shots have too much contrast, and maybe you can move your vray light in the top above the safeframes you it dont show up the line of the light in the walls.
I love the donkey texture, looks very harsh, i like it a lot.

As for the “yellow blobs” guys, theres a tutorial WITH THAT ies file in the tutorials threads, please take a look around
