Corona 1.7 not working on the farm

Official 1.7 Corona release, up to date windows x64 server 2016 datacenter (EC2).

I did cancel the first install attempt of Corona because it was downloading the mat lib, then uninstalled the remains using add/remove programs and reinstalled it again (a few times now)

So any clues?

Production renderer is changed to NA

This probably means that 1.7 is not supported by Deadline yet.

Can you see if everything is ok if you downgrade to 1.6 hf3? Download | My Chaos

Thx, but Local deadline9 jobs on the office farm work fine with 1.7 so I doubt that’s it.

1.6 worked fine on the farm. Looks like max isn’t loading anything from Corona?

Tried with a fresh start still no go.

Sorry for the stupid question, but please explain what is working, and what is not working then.
If Corona 1.7 is working with Deadline 9 “on the office farm”, then it is not working… where?
If it’s working in one place, and not in another, it’s probably corrupted installation or something specific to that single computer.

Sorry, got a farm on EC2 which is not working. Basically got the same config locally in the office with a few old machines which does work.

Got to run now, I’ll give some more detail later. I can even give someone remote access to the machine if required.

Weird.. I’ve activated Max’s demo mode on a farm slave, then Corona 1.7 works fine. It’s just failing when using Deadline.. Coronarenderer.classid matches with what is in the deadline job as well.

Don’t ask my why or how but it seems to be working again! :smiley:

So it could be something connected with Max licensing? Maybe the nodes were not able to run Max previously?

Not sure, I tweaked a lot of things and I found a few mistakes in my own managing scripts when updating the farm to max 2018 so if no one else is having these issues it was probably some error of my own.
