I don’t know why is this the case, but new corona 14 is incredibly slow. It got to a point i deinstalled it and installed corona 13 which is 2 times faster. I have one big scene so its really obvious. Please optimize this. New version has really great features but to me this is a brick version. No use if i need to wait after i import something from cosmos, if i modify material and so on.. Its useless.
Corona 13 is fluid. As i said - 2 times faster at least. Nothing is lagging, material editor is great, cosmos import also without a problem. So what happened? Can you even fix that or we got to a path of no return where fluid workflow is reserved only for threadripper pro users.
Hi, just to make sure, you tried Corona 14 Update 1, right? If not, you can get it here: Download | My Chaos
Could you please test installing Corona in the “cloud licensing” mode and in the legacy “license server” mode and check if it’s slow for you in both cases? The option to choose which type of licensing to use is displayed during the installation.
Yes, it was update1 version. I’ll test it in a less heavy scenes. I was in a cloud licensing mode when i had those problems. I’ll test it as soon as i find some time. I can only presume that everything will work in simple scenes since i cant see anybody else complaining. Its not a computer problem since i had both versions running on the same computer.
