Corona 15, Render Elements .cxr file size is same as the main .cxr file while using Batch render

Since the new update while using batch render there is an issue. Previously when .cxr file was saved the main file with all the render elements was the biggest and render element .cxr files were much smaller. Now every file is the same size as the main one, so the total amount of GB needed on the drive is much higher. It eats up the space

Hi,

I confirm this. It is because all elements are in all CXR outputs.
It is reported: CMAX-2390

If needed, a temporary workaround for batch rendering will be to change the output extensions (main output in Render Settings > Common) to .EXR, while keeping the batch render output to CXR.

This will output the batch render to CXR and render elements will be in EXR with only the corresponding render element. File size will be smaller.

And this brings a related question:

When specifying auto output (anything not manually doing Save in VFB) to EXR, you can set to have all elements included inside the EXR automatically. In this case, only a single, large EXR is saved. If elements are not automatically included, then all elements and the main output are saved as single layer, smaller EXRs.

Main CXR output has all elements included by default, there is no way to exclude them (only disable elements).

Question: Are separate, smaller CXR element outputs expected in this case, or only the main output with all elements nested is the desired output?

I am having the same issue, but I am working with Pulze scene manager. When Pulze moves over to the next camera, the saved outputs all save again as CXR and disregard the change.
