I noticed in Corona 15 and latest Cinema4D version that every time I create a new corona camera from corona main menu a Cinema4D standard camera with focus distance set to “0” is created.
It is a special feature or it is a Corona issue?

Aha… IINM, it got ‘introduced’ with a fix for a certain “Outline” glitch (CC4D-1054).
“… the bug appears when using the camera physical size option. If you set it to 0, all works as expected.”
Thanks for your replay. But I’m not using any special parameter. Going to menu > Corona camera and that’s all.
Corona generate itself the camera without the focal length cone.
Yup, I’m merely affirming and giving an assumption, it might started with the mentioned fix. The citation is a quote from when the culprit of the glitch w/ the “Outliner” was found.
Guess it’s on the side of the Corona team now to decide what to do with it.
Hi, I checked it, and indeed it looks like there was a change at one point:
Is this a problem? Should we change it? Can you explain why?
Dear Maru, thanks for your replay. I jumped on corona 15 recently bypassing corona 14.
Usually the cinema4D default camera is set to 2000cm. Is not a problem at all but for a new user who approach to Corona render is not good to see the camera without cone angle.
The focus distance is used not only for this purpose but to see the camera on 4-views. without the focus cone the camera is difficult to see.

Thanks for the clarification! I have reported it to our developers as an improvement with ID (CC4D-1413).
