Hi, i am using two computers in two different places, and i use a floating licence for that purpose, to easley switch from one to another. Unfortunately i find the floating licence extremly slow to release, and it prevent me to rapidly switch from computers. For example i work on the A machine, i close 3ds max, i need to wait for maybe 10 minutes the licence to be free again befor being able to load Corona on the B machine. Sometimes i need to reboot the A computer because it wont release the licence at all … That breaks the floating licence ability to switch, cant it be a simplier way, maybe as 3ds max deal with it, a single popup message with a button that allows you to release the licence on the other machines to immediately free it ? Thanks in advance for your help.
In Corona for Cinema 4D we have an option to release the license from C4D UI. Unfortunately, this is not yet possible in 3ds Max. We will discuss internally whether this would be possible to add.
