Not seen this news but have to leave a message here as well. Thank you team Corona for bringing us such a user-friendly renderer. Looking forward to the official release and you guys have been superb dealing with all sorts of criticism and we are always there for you! Hip, Hip, Hooray Off to bed now… John
Glad you guys are enjoying it so far. I think most of us are In regards to the dynamics issues, these are more complicated to iron out and thus far, the process is a lengthy one. It will be solved though, don’t you worry. Gobos for lights? Although this can easily be done with supported Cinema lights to my knowledge there are no plans at this time. Please make official requests in the appropriate thread As for an introductory offer, I think it being free for so long has been a pretty good deal
It was an excellent strategy, in which we all benefit.
We contribute with error detection,
also now we have a lot of projects done with Corona
for that reason we are in love and of course we are the number 1 customers
to buy the product.
In short we all win … I look forward to January 7
to get the commercial version
Imagine CORONA RENDER with an AMD Threadripper, 32 cores should
fly…
About “scene converter”, layers are not recognized.
Can you add an option “convert selected materials” instead convert all materials ?
When I launch Convert scene, some materials are black. Sometimes it’s Level Diffuse = 0% (easy to change) but often I have a channel with a layer without any texture, it’s very annoying.
Area light with texture is missing feature in this amazing render engine. I hope I am not along… many others also needs that.
Creating Light materials with different intensities and apply to plan object… its not better lights with texture and set light intensity, no need to create different light materials.
Even if its by native c4d… add that in Corona menu, otherwise it will be confusing some lights here and some use from native c4d…! Or add that texture feature by adding a tag with corona light… or any other way, that you know better.
