Cosmos browser crushes max

Corona Corona for 3ds Max Issues

Hello,
after installing newest Corona Hotfix 2

Every single time when i open Cosmos Browser from 3dsmax it crashes instantly, 2022,2023 and 2024, every single time. I reinstalled everything 2 times.

When I leave Cosmos browser opened and start new 3dsmax i cant import assets either - i get this message “error importing asset: The selected importer was not found”

Hi can you please search your directories for Ucrtbase.dll, more specifically your C:\Windows\System32, C:\Program Files, C:\Program Files (x86) and see where the file is present and under which folder?

Hello, sorry for delayed reply,
I have so many instances of ucrtbase.dll :smiley: one in C:/Windows/System32 …

It looks like this is Corona issue because cosmos started from vray toolbar works perfect. (but changes renderer to vray)

@_fosafosa - if you do not have to use 3ds Max 2024, please downgrade to Corona 9 Hotfix 1 - https://data.corona-renderer.com/download/builds/3dsmax/chaos-corona-9-3dsmax-hotfix1.zip
The only downside of HF1 is that it won’t work with Max 2024.

i just exported few assets to another file and pasting them as vrayproxies…

Funny how corona nowadays need all this chaos malware to work.

4 chaos processes and 3dsmax is not even started.
