Cosmos Browser isn't showing Cosmos assets that were moved to the designated download folder.

Our team is using Vray Cosmos for 3DS Max, and a couple of us had initially set different locations as our Cosmos Download folder. I’m trying to combine all of our downloaded files into a single location on our server. I copied all the already-downloaded assets from our server to the same folder and set that as the Cosmos download folder. The issue is that none of the assets copied to that location are showing up in the Cosmos’s library Viewer.

I’ve tried running the “Stop/Start Chaos Comsos” command, restarting 3DS Max, and restarting my PC. Still nothing. I went through and ensured each copied asset was in the correct location and had all of its files. The only thing that worked: I searched for and redownloaded one of the assets that wasn’t showing up; it then appeared, but I’d hate to have to do that for all 100+ assets we’ve already downloaded and not just for myself but for everyone on my team.

So how can I get the Cosmos Browser to see all of the assets?

Thanks!

Found a solution!

I tested a few things with a co-worker. For some reason, when they linked to the same download folder as me, that folder’s Lock files would disappear, and when my co-worker tried to download their own asset to the folder, they would get a “No access to downloads folder” pop-up warning.

So the solution was just creating a fresh new folder location for the downloads folder and now everything is working as expected.
