Hi!
I’m baking into texture an interior scene.
There are a lot of objects, so I select a lot of them and then I render using the “Render to Texture” dialog window. After some objects it crashes, there’s an error message into the Vray Message Window that I’m not able to understand.
Can you tell me please where is stored the vraylog.txt file where I can read what happens and paste it here?
I had crashes too, my hunch was the UV coords, they where missing for some of the faces,
you could use automatic unwrap and see if it renders fine, in this case you got to revise the UV for all objects.
Not much, unfortunately; it’s a very generic message. If you can get us the scene (or at least a part of it that is enough to reproduce the problem), I will be able to tell you more.
You should have a reply from us in your mailbox but in case anyone else experience the same issue here is a possible solution:
The crash is caused by the CompleteMap used for the bake. Just substitute that with VRayCompleteMap or some other V-Ray compatible bake element and the crash will go away.
Using the standard 3ds Max bake elements may cause a crash as in this case.
