Crash when rendering /w GPU RTX3090 24gb Sketchup 2025 and Vray for Sketchup 2025 in any resolutio0n >1024px x 768px

Hello. I have the below PC specs
win11
i9-12900k
32gb ram
rtx 3090 24gb

Using latest sketchup and vray (downloaded literally today) I am facing below issues:

Any render using GPU that’s above 1000px resultsa in Vray for sketchup 2025 crashing my PC with the below error in Windows App log;

When I render with CPU there’s no issue but the rendering times are 5x longer.

*The GPU undergoes stresstests in Blender and other software and is definitely not the cause of the issue.

What canc be done to pinpoint the root casue as I need to be able to render usingf GPU and at resolutions 3000 px and higher.

Let us investigate your crash.
First of all please let me know:

  • Do you get any errors in the V-Ray rendering log or do you get a Bugsplat when SketchUp crashes?
  • Are you able to render higher resolution (e.g. 4k) in a new empty project (one of the SketchUp templates) or even empty scene crashes?
  • Share a screenshot of Task Manager > GPU Tab with graphics card specifications (example) to check your current installed driver. Please take a look at this article here and follow the instructions if your driver is different from the recommended version for V-Ray GPU.

In case if the issue is scene-related (meaning only specific project crashes) would you mind sharing it with us to test? If that is alright, use the Pack Project tool to pack all used assets and open a ticket (request type: Product usage questions or issues) where you submit your files.
Please add a screenshot of About window V-Ray for SketchUp to make sure that we are testing the exact same build.​
