No
tnx for the quick answer.
In Alias Studio is posible to do it, but it had poor quality, anyone knows another method, software, magic enchanment?
I would like to see such a feature inside Vray. !!
Maybe an option to store the displaced geometry automatically to a vray proxy. (Probabely just for view independant displacement possible)
The advantages would be, not to calculate the displacement new
everytime you render. And you could get a preview in the viewport.
I´m often rendering rocks and natural things with displacement, and it´s
very hard (sometimes impossible) to fit the displaced geometry to other
objects. For example if you want to place a plant on a displaced rock
or a bird on a displaced tree. You always have to render an adjust the position to correctly place the objects.
first, sorry about my damned english

i think its the thing u want
